The Café Centrale owes its name to its perfect location in the centre of the city with a wonderful view of the historic facade of Hannover’s main railway station. Its bright rooms and modern, clear, yet warm design language make it a great place to meet and enjoy yourself any time of the day.
Our Kaiserhof coffee, which is roasted in-house, spreads a wonderful aroma in the early mornings. Its full-bodied flavour has made it a beacon for the café. We serve our gourmet breakfast here every day from 6:30 am to 11:00 am. Fresh organic egg dishes such as eggs Benedict, home-made Bircher muesli and fruity spreads, various salmon, cheese and sausage varieties, delicate ham from the bone and a paradisical variety of fresh fruit are just some of the delights our buffet offers. The crispy rolls, fresh pastries and sweets all come from our own pâtisserie and bakery.
We offer lunch classics and daily specials at a reasonable price at lunch before the café turns into a lounge with delicious cakes and torts (all from our pâtisserie) with live piano music in the afternoon.
You can enjoy the activities at the Ernst August Square in the summer from our terrace which offers space for up to 120 people. The evenings are also relaxing under the illuminated awning with benches, stylish bar stools and wood tables. The café is also available for private parties, with exclusive space for up to 140 people. Our white, stylishly designed open air summer separée also provides an inviting atmosphere for relaxed day parties with up to 40 people.
